21 Lessons/Things I Learned

A wonderful & blessed 21th birthday today.

Looking back from the beginning till now. Looking at my baby photo and as years passes I began to grow bigger and stronger till what I am today. I'm truly satisfied!

Argh!!!

So here are to top 20 things/lessons I learned. Looking forward to the next two decades, wondering what I'll get again.
You're welcome to leave your comments below about the ones you like or whatever. Hehe...

1. Jesus Christ - the definition of love and the reason we live.

2. Love your God. Love your neighbour. Get them right, that’s it!

3. Trust and acknowledge God. He’s your only hope and will never forsake you.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:11-13

4. Cultivate the fruit of the Spirit.
“…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control…” – Galatians 5:22-23

5. Love, Forgive and give Hope to others.
Don’t worry, it’s a lifetime process. There are plenty of opportunities.

6. Give and don't expect a return. I meant give with a cheerful heart :D

7. If you ain’t doing good to anybody, stop living =)
Don’t make people miserable and learn to shut up if you have nothing nice to say. Learn to tell someone how important they are and appreciate their presence in your life. Do not be weary in doing good, continue and there will be a time to reap the good harvest.

8. Life is full of choices, if you have the guts to go for it.
It is meant to be beautiful and colourful. Be the special breed of human being that choose to live the life to the fullest. You are the light that shine. Live the life and inspire others to live too. Keep fighting for your goals and inspire others to live their dreams.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” - Matthew 5:14-16

9. Action speaks louder than words.
Think before you speak, words cannot be taken back. You just got to fulfill after it is said. You know, trust has to be earned and you know the consequences if you lose it.

10. Max out 100% everyday, any reason to save?
You ain’t going to bed till you PAY YOUR DUES! Learn as much. Don’t pass each day without gaining anything. You got to live today better than yesterday, same goes for tomorrow.

11. Success? Make it happen, whatever it takes. Define clearly the purpose before you start anything. Decide, Plan, Do. BANG!
Work when everyone else is still sleeping and you'll be ahead. Hard work pays off! "The difference between the people doing it and the people not doing it, is that the people doing it are doing it." – Jim Smith

12. Know what you are doing and stay focused. Don’t give up easily and learn to be patient.
If everything is easy, everyone will be the same. Think the people who changed or contributed to the world such as Newton, Edison, Wright brothers, Einstein, Steve Jobs and you name it…

13. Stop worrying what people say/think about you. It’s not gonna get you anywhere.
Sometimes it just shows they’re weak and trying to bring someone down when they don’t succeed. We all know the saying… “Ah well, haters gonna hate anyways.” But then, do remember the 5th point.

14. Unleash the power of the subconscious mind.
Know your strength and weaknesses. Make full use of what you got. Think and speak positive. Your thoughts will eventually come into reality. Weaknesses can be converted into strength. Surround yourself with positive people that will bring you up. Visualize yourself on how you want to be. Smile and laugh often, you will look more like a optimistic person. Believe me, you will find strength when you need it.

World through your eyes.

15. Don’t see a weakness as it is, see it as an opportunity to take yourself one step higher.
Others will see your weaknesses better than yourself. Dare to receive critics or advices. If it’s right, +1. Otherwise, forget about it and move on… remember the 13th point. Humbleness is hard to learn. Ego, get a timeout once in a while :)

16. Stop making a fuss about everything, especially on what you don’t have.
Don’t be jealous of others, be motivated and inspired instead. Learn to appreciate and realise that you have more than you think. Reflect on the little things and know that you are truly blessed than many.

17. When you reached your goal, ask yourself again, ”what kind of person have I become?” It’s the character that is built in you that matters and will last. That is true success, being a jerk doesn’t count.

18. Bear necessity.
Simplicity, less is sometimes more. You don’t need everything to live, filter out the trash and nonsense.

19. Fitness is a lifetime commitment, divorce is not an option. It’s more than a hobby, it’s a lifestyle. Train like there is no finish line. Been there, done that with no regrets.

20. Squat & Deadlift. The king of all exercises.
I don’t mean do it whenever you feel like. Do it all the time and go HEAVY. Master those if you’re serious about pumping iron, or else you will be never ready for the better. It’s more than just a physical activity but about building a character, developing mental toughness. Many say that they’re difficult. Exactly the point! If you can’t, you must! Life is about getting up when a heavy load brings you down. It’s all about the strength to overcome obstacles. Do that and be better in life.

21. Lastly, treasure your life as you only live once. Treasure each moment as it only happens once. Be thankful and grateful always.

I'm longing to be freed!

Heading Back

Heya! Somehow I think I've abandoned this blog badly. Said to myself that I will blog at least once a week but obviously it didn't happened. Spent most of my time on Facebook actually which I only created 3 months ago. LOL!

Summer break is coming to an end, which means a new academic year is coming ahead. This would be in second year. Yes, it means harder, tougher, busier BUT at the same time as life goes on, I believe it would be a wonderful and beautiful year ahead...by God's grace.

I really enjoyed this summer as it was a fruitful one. I learnt a lot, developing myself in terms of my mind, body and spirit. The 3 that cannot be separated as it affects one another somehow. As I grow, I learn. As we grow older each day, we got to learn something each day. It can be anything, just don't go to bed not knowing anything new.

Here are few things which I've learnt/went through...

1. Air conditioning systems - Did my intern with a air-cond company. So going around repairing it's the kind of thing I do. Basically, I learn as I do. At least I would say I can troubleshoot a split unit now.

2. Finance - I learn about how global financial system works. Also, trying to find a way to earn passive income. I don't wanna drag myself to work each day because of money though. I control money and not otherwise! Now this is really an eye-opening knowledge, will be going to it deeper. It's good to realize early before it's too late. Basically, we're heading to death sentence!

3. Fitness - I need not mention it is something I'm so passionate about in life. Ever since I started end of 2008, it never stops, it became a part of me. Each day getting stronger and I'm coming back leaner! I also enjoy coaching my friends. It's a pleasure to do so and I just feel happy when they show results. It's more than just a physical thing I would say, it builds a person character. Until you get yourself in it, you just don't feel it.

4. Self-development - From the previous point, which leads to this. Different people gets their motivation from different sources. As for me, it's through fitness. I live each day better than before, tomorrow will be better than today. I will portray myself as an optimistic person. I will always look at the beautiful side of things. I believe I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I will live the best of myself each day! If I can't do it, I must. You know... this sort of stuff. Haha!

5. Family - Yes, the family time =)

6. Spiritual Food - Now without this I'm dead too. Okay, I did a study on the book of Revelation. Yes it's a tough book but it's important to get the idea of it. As we look at the situation of the world today, it just paints the picture so well. We're already on that path, just the matter of time and we'll reach the end. As I look at the news each day, it makes perfect sense that it is near. This leads me to another question, am I ready?

Positive Affirmations

A normal day at work,
Sitting by the corridor and life goes on.
Suddenly something unexpected,
I don't know them and they don't know me.
As I see the tears in their eyes, I wept.
Thoughts across my mind...
Life is full of surprise and we never know.
Whatever we got, we appreciate and be grateful.
Love, Give & Share

Say these and go to bed each night!

And yes, new PR set today :)
I'm all good!

Limbang Trip

Just got back from company trip to Limbang yesterday. It was a good trip, actually was there for work but overall still enjoyed myself. The last time I been there was like 12 years ago. Yea... still was a kid back them so couldn't remember much but what I know it's a very small town. Basically it's a town by the riverside. I wouldn't want to stay there for long but it's great once in a while.

People living across the river. So it was the evening and I went to the riverside to observe the beautiful sunset. At the same time, looking at the lifestyle of people there. Most of them lived a happy simple life. Go out to work in the morning and in the evening they'll take a boat across the river back home. Seeing them happily and satisfied with their life each day.

Limbang Airport. Yeaa... the main reason for me being there. Got to service 24 air-conds in 2 days. Actually pretty easy job, quite relaxing.. Haha! Working hours are flexible; as long the work is done, we're great!

Now, I love machinery especially those huge ones. So there is this fire station in the airport and this thing really caught my attention. Man... it's small compared to others in bigger airports but it's still HUGE! A fire truck... Heh!

Since I was quite curious so I asked one of the officer about stuff. Fair enough, he explained lots to me especially about different kinds of trucks and their functions and I got a chance to get into this truck. Heh... how often will you get a chance like this else where? Great experience. And yeah... indeed a powerful machine. Amazing!

So I was there for 4 days but only 2 working days. So taking everything slow and chilling along. And now... back to normal work routine again =.="

Summer Break

It's been a week since I got back home. Ahh... after being out for months and going through uni life, home is just the best place to be. Well, nothing much changes, everywhere is pretty the same.

I'm having 3 months plus of summer break which means many things can be done.
Few things I'm going to do:

1. Internship

Started since Monday. Got myself hooked with an air-conditioning company and I'm in the servicing department. Man... Everyday is a great day; put aside the long working hours and low salary :p I even got to work half day on Saturday. Hah! So what I do? Go around fixing and repairing people's air-cond, carrying heavy stuffs, holding tools, climbing up rooftops and ceilings. Better than sitting in the office facing the screen and get your butts burnt out. Skill workers are needed nowadays, no point being good in brains but bad in hands. Kena tipu pun tak tau! Haha!

Another thing is the experience, now mixing around with industrial workers are totally different from office workers. They really have a different mindset and different way to approach. But they're wonderful people. When I see them, I feel that life is easy and satisfying. We often get worried about everything but when I see them, take life easy man! "Relax dulu, pergi makan" LOL? Belum kerja sudah makan? I love talking with them too, like it or not, they're jokers! Feel happy every single day.

2. Training

"Work Hard, Train Hard, Play Hard"

Read it! Understand it! Do it!
Haha! Best thing in the world. Gonna boost my fitness level to a higher level. Let's see how far I'll go after 3 months.

3. Read

If you want to lead, you need to read.

Gonna work on my spiritual and character area. Want to be a better person each day, making people surrounding me happy. That's life!

4. Movies

Been missing lots of good movies in a while.

I believe all these are sufficient for these few months.
Let the fun begins...

Meaning of Life?

Is there really an exact definition for it?

Why are you here for?

What is that something that truly makes you happy each day?

What do you know about freedom?

Living in a fast paced world today and sometimes we just don't know what and why exactly we're here for. Take some time, forget about everything else and just ponder upon yourself.

Ask yourself...
where you're heading to in life?
how do you see yourself in the future?
what's the ultimate goal to be achieved?
what makes you happy while doing?

Here's a clip worth watching...

My opinion:-

For me, having freedom means life. Now what's freedom? Well, it's doing the things you enjoy most doing rather then being forced to do otherwise. Not just that, it's the power you have to do the things you ought to do. That's the key point! We're hold back a lot of times simply because we're powerless to do so. So sometimes circumstances are just in our way and we just got to bear with it. Since we only live once, so it is important to live to the fullest, taking full control and live each day the BEST you can. Don't live a life of regrets, it's too short for that.

Have you lived your best today?

Completion of Year 1

Completed my last paper earlier this morning. Yeah, feels great now. NOW I can start dreaming of my summer break. So just a quick recap for the past few weeks. Been really busy, don't even have the time to post. But anyways... I think this is the most exciting and horrifying examination I sat so far. Sitting for 6 modules with 4 year long is ridiculous.

It's like I'm putting a gamble on each paper everyday. No time to study so I just picked a few topics and hope it will come out well. Haha! Wasn't that lucky all the time so you can say I screwed up a portion of the paper; and I mean each module. But overall it was alright, not as tough as expected. Maths was the only which is great! I just hope I'm able to retain my partial scholarship. So basically I'm studying just because of that.

For the past 2 months, my training intensity has dropped a lot. Haha! I've not done any running for a month plus already. Gonna start back again. I've been eating a lot so put up some weight. But it's still alright because I'm still in shape and getting stronger. Been sleeping late for the last 2 months, so now it's time to readjust my sleeping time again. Sleep early, wake up early! Since I plan to go harder these summer so adequate rest is required before I start anything.

Oh and the university gym is back again after renovation. Past few weeks been going out to workout. Well, I just can't stop; makes me feel sick and uncomfortable. The new gym looks great but it comes with noob rules. Unfortunately! Was kinda pissed earlier on.. Seriously I'm gonna have a hard time.

=.="

Study Break

So the 12 academic weeks had come to an end. Woo... Finally! Tired of series of bad lectures. Finals are coming in a week time which is not so good. Another 3 weeks of mental fatigue. Preparations seems to be slacking. LOL! Just hope for the best!

Hah! Uni gym is closed down weeks ago so which means I need to go out for my workout. Now my friend is not around to give me a ride which makes life a bit sad for me. So recently had been using the bus to go to a nearer gym. It's a bit troublesome though since it's taking up too much time. I've decreased my training intensity ever since I started this semester and need to further decrease because of exams. I just can't stop completely or I just choose not to :)

Summer! I can't wait for summer break to come which is like almost 4 months off. How great is that!? Basically had my plans sorted out for this coming few months. Heh... really looking forward to it.

~Cheers~

Childhood Cartoons

Heh... Was busy studying for my maths test last weekend so no time for any updates. So yeah, test was just now and erm... LOL? Not good ah!

As I saw my friend watching the cartoon Aladdin last weekend, I start to reflect back during my childhood moments. That time computer wasn't that advanced as now so most of the time will be watching TV. And as kids... CARTOONS! Especially Disney!

Here are some of my favourites. Haha! Cannot recall how many times I watched, just many times! Good storyline is one thing, WONDERFUL songs is what makes the cartoon worth watching. Yeah, I'm still listening to the songs till this day cause' they're just beautiful. Music is just sweet and I find it very relaxing while listening.

Unlike songs nowadays a bit gila one. Sometimes don't know what they singing or yelling about.
sex. rebellion. death. suicide. violence. hatred. anti-christ. extreme.
Haha! You name it all. Hope Disney will still make these kind of music. But now it's like Miley Cyrus? Ha?

Beauty & The Beast

Bambi

Here's something worth listening:)

I love Fridays!
Who cares if you don't?

Indeed, it's an important day to us :)
It's a great day yeah!

Saturday, April 9, 2011

Cheers~

As usual I'm busy with stuff. This course is giving me deadlines every SINGLE week, non-stop. Currently working on my air compressor group design project which is due on Monday. Hah! Hope history won't repeat again. Past few weeks was working on car jack design till 4am. Drivin' me crazy... Ulalala...

So it's the end of week 9 already for your info, which means 3 more to go. Yeah, sounds great but not so because finals are coming up. The 'interesting' part is I'm having 6 modules. Oh and before that, will be having short test on week 11 and 12. Haha! To make things taste better, I haven even started anything on that. That's life man... Too busy to study =.="

Two labs coming up next week which is the Electromechanical Systems module lab, totally blur when you're doing those labs. Hahaha! Not me but everyone else too!

Anyways...

Get a break :D

Future - Glass & Touch Screen

Since I'm doing a presentation on touch screen technology, started googling around and found these videos which I think they're interesting. What would the future be?

Reality?
Only time will tell :)

I still think this is impressive. Haha! Like living in fantasy.

Thoughts?

My First 21km :)

I just want to be in a place like this.
Relax & Enjoy

Despite the heavy workload which turns life upside down, life is still colourful no matter what. And yes I mean it, all the time. Isn't that great?

"What could be better than doing the things you enjoy most?"

I just wanna share a bit about my first half-marathon run which took place last Sunday. Really thank God for the run. It was just awesome! To describe how I felt during the run was wonderful, beautiful...... I felt so happy and enjoyed every single moment during the race. It's like one of the happiest thing that happened.

I decided to have more quality sleep few days before the race. I know assignments are all around, so what!? I went down to Bukut Jalil Stadium with Ning Khang to collect my racing stuff the day before. Back in the evening, continue to do some work and off early to rest.

Later at night I was preparing myself, having good meals and rest. Race starts at 5.30am, need to reach at 4.30am and which means have to be up at 3am. Haha! I was so excited that night I guess that I couldn't sleep. Anyways, it's a normal thing. Most importantly is having good quality sleep days before.

Getting ready everything I need.

Lights off at 11pm and I eyes were still wide open at 1am. LOL! Forget about sleeping but I did sleep a little while before alarm rings. And I'm all up energetic, ate some stuff, waited for Ning Khang to pick me up and GO!

We reached there slightly late though and the place is packed with people. Few thousand people I guess, all pumped up, having high spirit. The situation was just so ALIVE, gave me more confidence. Well, never did a 21km before. Imagine running with thousands of people together. Man... The street is yours!

Now is the time, proceed to the starting line. Count from 10, 9... 3, 2, 1. Boom! The fun begins. I was really a happy boy at that time. Running early in the morning, enjoying the cool air. Feels totally different. Forget about all the assignments, I AM FOCUSING ON MY RACE!!! Get that!? Who cares about work?

Heh! Traffic police were everywhere for traffic control. You don't wanna see someone dead or injured. We actually blocked the traffic and all the cars were honking like mad. LOL! Our run, our road! But yeah, this race is tough because many hills and slope. Killer!

I just ran and ran, focusing on my breathing and managed to catch my after 10 mins. Awesome! Interesting thing is while most of us a still going, some African dudes are already on their way back. They are like x2 or x3 faster than us. Those guys are great. I maintained smoothly until I nicely cleared 15km after 1:20 hours. Water stations were really helpful though.

Then, problem starts. Breathing started to get out of rhythm, which means fatigue starts to come in. The last 6km was tough, tried to catch my pace but just couldn't maintain it for long. My speed obviously slowed down but trying hard to focus and push. I was expecting a water station nearby but life doesn't seems to be kind enough. Struggling hard until reached one. Final 2km, I encounter a slope again. Now this is mad. At the most critical part, I just need to push through this last slope. Real tough.

Soon I see the finish line ahead, getting closer and closer. Speeding up and cross! Haha! I've made it! It is done! Accomplish! The feeling was just perfect, satisfied. I finish 332th out of few thousand, clocking a time of 2:02 hours. My target was below 2 hours though but nevermind, more will come in the future. I checked the finishing time, if I could finish within 1:50-ish, I could be top 150! So near yet so far.

Met with my Miri buddy, Jeremy

Our 'guns'

Finisher shirt and medal

My dear shoes which brought me so far <3

Went back, took a good shower and slept for 4 hours. Woke up around 2pm and worked till 4am next morning. Hah! Screw the car jack!

Thursday, March 17, 2011

*shoots head* BANG!

This is like a heck of a week for me. Finally submitted all my work for this week. Yeah, done for now. So can chill a little bit and update before starting another heck of week. Currently in week 6, which means 6 more to go. Will be screwed at the end. Haha! We are bound to torture and suffering. Mental and Emotionally! We are doomed to these kinda stuff.

Guess what? I didn't even have the chance to do my weekly shopping this week which means no food supply. I was busy, friends were busy; our weekend is doomed to work! This is probably the worst I've experienced so far. I just don't like to sleep late, messing up my lifestyle.

1. Car Jack project. It's been driving me nuts for days and weeks! Worked till 4am the night before submitting and woke up at 12pm noon the next day to finish off the bits. Frust!

2. Lab report. Yeaaaa... worked till 2am for this! Still can be forgiven.

3. Mathematics coursework. Now this is bad...as in very BAD! I slept at 5am this morning all because of this. Was figuring out one question for a long time. Thank God no class today which means I chilled the whole day.

So let's see whats coming ahead...
1. more lab reports
2. air compressor design - another design work = doomed to frustration
3. presentation
4. EXAMS! Ughh!

So please reconsider if you plan to do engineering,
or maybe just mechanical.
Civil is opposite, free till nothing better to do. Haha!

Friday, March 11, 2011

Spot It!

Spot anything different?

Sometimes I just admire people who are so free and nothing better to do. As mechanical engineering student, so many things to do although it's only year 1.

Coursework, assignments, lab reports...
There just coming one after another leaving no break in between. These 2 weeks gonna be mad. Three deadlines to meet next week!

*kaboom*

*scratch head*

Car Jack design is just so

LAME!!!

Cricket World Cup

It's 1am early Sunday morning and SA is still loaded with tons of people watching the match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Heh... we really have lots of cricket enthusiast here. Sadly university can't provide the facilities for them.

Focus... Jin Kiat... Focus... Goals

He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.

(Psalms 23:3)

Father, restore my soul as I start again. A new year; a new semester. Definitely gonna make it better than the last. Need to be more focused on my goals.

How's life?
Well, it's all great! Haha! With God everything great.
Being able to whack iron and pump max heart rate daily. What could be better?
People! Yes, many beautiful people around campus these days. Man... Everyday is a great day.
Friends are awesome too.

So a recap for the first week of Sem 2. Definitely a busier semester because finals are worth of 100 credits...out of 120. LOL! Pretty sweet :) The interesting thing is on the first day we are told we gonna have test on week 3. That's the last thing I wanna hear on my first day =.="
Will be having a test on Materials on week 3. I think is a good head start, at least to start the momentum to study.

I'm also having a different timetable and Mondays aren't that forgiving anyways. Haha! 8 hours of lectures straight from 9am - 6pm with 1 hour break in between. Woosh... a marathon! But at least rest of the week are good.

Training has been up but not as good compared to Miri though. We have good hills and stadium to train but not here. However, just got to be creative to make things out. Working out is awesome as I'm currently on strength training and bulking up a little. Powerlifting But I'm having a new routine coming soon :D

Weekly bible study has also started since last week. Haha! As usual, it's been great!

And finally, results of Sem 1 are out. Well, it's not my best but I think it's still alright. 84% for Engineering Maths 1 and 58% for Mechanics of Solids 1. Told ya I screwed up that paper. Hehe... Both modules are worth 10 credits each. But yeah, I got 100 credits to tackle this time. Better not screw up.

Focus... Focus...

Resuming...

Two weeks passed by in a blink, and once again...

I'm back to campus, resuming the usual student daily routine.
Life's great for the past 2 weeks, busy sleeping, eating and exercising.
The three best thing ever.

So I'm looking forward towards the start of a new semester
with more interesting and challenging things coming.
Bring it on!

Brunei Day Trip

I always love to feed my body well with food; basically the healthy ones. Especially on campus, usually eat like 5-6 meals a day. Back here, literally I just dump anything that can be eaten into my mouth. I guess this explains how I gained weight fast.

Some time ago I heard people keep mentioning about eating Japanese food at Excapade so I've always wanted to give a try. Yesterday I was down in KB with Maurice and Jeremy.

sushi and sashimi set which cost $50

plus others which I don't know the names.
Who cares, right?

Still got more but forgot to take photos. Haha! Too busy eating. Before we went back, we headed for some delicious kebab too.

...It's just a great day!

Just Great

Wow... Time goes by really quick. One week had passed and 6 more days left and will be flying back again. Everyday seems to be short since I'm always packed with activities.

So just a quick recap for this week...

1. As usual, doing the driver's job sending and fetching siblings to and from school.
2. Exercising daily. LOL! That is a must.
3. Meet up with friends.
4. Eating a lot. Huhu... I gained at least 3kg this week.

And not to forget the most important one,

I slept and rested well! 8-10 hours each day.
I managed to get good night sleep everyday. The weather here is so cooling at night but oven during the day whereas is the other way round in campus.

Eating Excitement

Hah! Can't think of any other title for this post. Two nights ago I went for dinner with Ansxn, my big eater friend. So we decided to settle at Soho for our meal. It was really a great night, enjoying all the good food. LOL! And I shoot up to 80kg from 77kg after that. Really been a long while since I ate like this.

Had salad as starter

Each of us had Quesadillas

Pizza

Two different chicken chops

and chips.
LOL!

And not to forget our desserts at Desserts Master:)

Ahhhh....

Great!

I'm done with Sem 1!

Finished my last paper which is Thermodynamics just now.
Woohoo... I guess our lecturer was really kind to us. Our questions were quite simple and straight forward.

Compared to past years or tutorial exercises, those are much crazy as you don't even know how to start. LOL!

So what's next!?

Holidays!
2 weeks off!

Exam Season

Set... Go!

We experience good times, times where we feel happy and relax. Well, in life there will be times we wish it wouldn't happen or at least not so fast. So this would be it.

Term break is over and these 2 weeks will be exam; mine starting on Thursday though. So the campus is back alive again. It's been very quiet for the past 3 weeks. Now we see students rushing up and down or even staying overnight studying, sleeping the next morning. Heh... At least I still get enough time to sleep :D

LOL! Having Electromechanical Systems 1 this Thursday. Haih... Really no comment on this module. Really a lame subject for me. So much, so complicated, bad notes, lecturers which you have no idea what they're talking about. And guess what? Just for 6% of overall. All these leads to a screwed up module!

Grand Opening - Year 2011

Awesome! Another year gone and here's another beginning again...
This year was very different from others. Usually I will be chilling or hanging out somewhere during this time of the year.

So what was I doing on new year's eve night?
Good question with lame answers :P
1. Studying
2. Sleeping

First day of the year?
The first place I went right after I woke up was... The GYM...
Then, back to study mode again. Why la exams always during the first month? Heh...

Let's reflect back a bit...

1. Did more bible study.
2. Scored straight A's in A-Levels.
3. Worked as lecturer for 8 months plus. Wah! This one really whole loads of experience.
4. Increased athletic performance. Increased strength and power. (Especially for the past weeks in university) Kinda satisfied but still going on hardcore! Going on stronger this year!
5. Got my photoshooting done! Haha! And I just received my photos today. Thanks Keane :D
6. Started a new life in University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus.
7. Increased knowledge in fitness, health and nutrition. My passion! My long-term goal as a trainer :) Doing it small scale now. Hehe...

As for my resolution last year...

1.Triathlon
- Sprint Distance
- Olympic Distance
2. Half Marathon (21km)
3. Break Duathlon Record
4. 6-pack
5. Get Ripped

6. Learn to Swim Freestyle
7. Earn Scholarship
9. Work

Hmm... unable to accomplish the bigger ones but overall it's still alright. So might change and add more things for this year.
