Closing Up - Year 2010

This would be the final chapter of 2010.

On this very last day of the year, early in the morning... we went to hike Broga Hill. It's just a hill behind our campus so reached there after a few minutes drive. Pretty simple and easy hill though. Our purpose was to see the sunrise scenery. It was a beautiful, cooling and peaceful morning :)

Seems that many people comes here too.

Uni is just around down there...

Four hills basically, this would be the peak :)

Magnificent!
Arise and Shine!

And the best part...

Guess who I met...
My secondary school teacher who moved to Negeri Sembilan few years ago. Although married, but yeah... "Miss" Martine Bong. LOL!

She was our teacher during our drama competition in form 3 and eventually my English teacher in form 4. In fact it's really a small world. Who would expect to meet up at this place? Haha! And also don't know me and my friends suddenly planned to come also. Really amazing and interesting how things move about.

I met my ex-English teacher.
Where?
On Broga Hill.
LOL!?!?

Blessed Christmas 2010

Heh... First time celebrating Christmas away from home. Not just that, I'm celebrating alone nowhere in the middle of Broga jungle. Hahaha! Anyways...

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Matthew 1:23

It's not about presents, not about the Christmas tree, nor Santa Claus, rain deers, elves...blah~ and all the crap you see around. So yeah, don't expect presents in your socks or under the Christmas tree. Seriously don't know how did all these came into the picture. It's just out of topic. Hah! And it's not just an ordinary celebration.

It is the celebration of the birth of the Messiah who was promised to come! Because of Love, we received the greatest gift from God, the gift of eternal life for those who truly believe in Jesus. Through Him, we're saved and reconciled back to God. Thank you for the abundant blessings, the gift of peace and joy that we have and the hope that is secured. Your grace and mercy is sufficient for me each day :)

Term Break - Part 2

...continue from Part 1

Lab

So I was talking of my lab report earlier which was eating all my precious time. Guess what... I had this lab on the last week of the term. And the worst is... this lab is the lamest lab I ever had in this semester. It's long and you have no idea what is it about. But anyways... I'm done!

Looks fancy but trust me... it's bad. REAL BAD!

ConneXion BBQ

Chilling after weeks of horror in class :P

And before I end, just want to share a good movie I watched at GSC, MidValley few days back. Huhu... first time in GSC though. So yeah, way better than cinema in Miri. Haha!

Been awhile since I last watched a good action movie.
Good storyline and ideas.

Term Break - Part 1

Heh... Guess I've been away for too long again. Quite hard to find a time to actually sit down and type out whatever I feel like. Yes I know the term break has begin but I’m still stuck with one last lab report. Quite lame right? Since I’m able to type this post, means I’ve done my report. Huhu! But exams will be coming in 2 weeks plus time and I’m yet to start from scratch.

So just a quick run through for the past weeks…

Week 9 & 10

It's been 2 weeks since my last update. It's not that I've nothing to blog but due to excessive work. Woah! Been busy like orang gila last two weeks. This coming week also busy but slightly better. Two more weeks then end of 1st Sem. Huhu!

So here are some highlights:

Pasar Malam

I think the longest night market in Semenanjung, around 1km in distance. Located in Cheras.
That day go there so happy, see food and drinks all around. But quite hard to eat while standing. And the place also so hot, so crowded, sweat like baru mandi like that. However... Nice Place!

Maths Test

Man... This is a bad test. Didn't do well. Aiya... the question paper got error one. Make me stuck on that particular question for so long. Easy question but cannot find answer =.=" Having exam in the Great Hall is terrible as you can see the lights are so dim like cinema. Hello! I'm sitting exam here!

ACE Charity Run

First run I joined in campus. Got 1st place but nothing much since it's just a small charity run. I'll be forcusing on bigger running events outside now. 21km half-marathon on my list :)

Welding & Gas Cutting Process

Ahh... When talk about this I also sien. Everyone just have to go there once but for my group... Twice! First time got blackout so cannot do welding. That's why need come back second time. The place is CIAST(Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training) located in Shah Alam, 1 hour bus ride man. Do nothing but sleep through.

Back to Work!

Soaring

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31

4 Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness.
5 Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

Proverbs 23:4-5

Week 6

Another week passes by again, nothing much interesting but just a routine of a normal student life. Busy with studies and sports as usual. More assignments and coursework coming in though. So this week I had another workshop session which is the last for this semester. Workshop is great since we don't have to submit any report. But ahead of me is 6 lab sessions! Lab sessions are not only long but they require reports!

Lathe machine
