Slumdog Millionaire

Ahah! As a fan of Hindi movies,
would never want to miss this too.

Jai Ho!

The Pink Panther 2

It's been quite some time since the last movie I watched.
So as my semester exams are over,
decided to watch something.

I think it has a creative and interesting storyline.
Not confusing and easy to understand.

It's funny as Steve Martin plays the role as an detective.

School's Out

What time is it...It's holidays time!

Finally, after months of studying...my end year holidays are here. 1 month! Yipee!~
Everyone loves the last day of school. Haha...for the last 2 weeks, I'm not even in the mood of studying. So guess I've a lot to catch up.

Recently, I watched all the 5 movies of Harry Potter. I've never watched them before until now. Haha...I'm so left out. But nevertheless, I've completed. I would say they're all good, the story is fantastic and brilliant, it's actually nice to see the characters growing up in each movie. LOL...since I've never read any of the books, so I was kinda blur when I watch the movie. Lots of stuff were actually not in the movie. But thanks to Kalysha for explaining everything to me. At least I've a clearer view of it now. She asked me to just read the books but guess I'm too lazy to read anything. Lalala~ I'm looking forward to the next movie which will be out next year~

Creative. Funny. At least I had a great laugh for this short period of time. LOL!

Loving it!

Let's Call It A Day...

What's Up?

Here I am again! Just came back home, I've been out almost the whole day. My journey started off this morning about 10am. I went lim teh with one of my badminton training mate at 2020. It's been a while I've not seen him, we are busy with our own life. Well...at least everything seems fine. And out of nowhere, I saw my coach and I greeted him. Ahaha...best coach I ever had!

After that, I drove to ChinaTown, wanted to see some clothes and shoes. Well, nothing caught my attention. So yeah, I headed to Imperial Mall. I wanted to buy a pair of badminton shoes since mine is already so worn out. First, I went to a sport shop(forgot the name...:P) but the shoes wasn't that impressive, kinda disappointed though. Then, I walked into LEA Centre and they were having sale now! I think it's for the Hari Raya but since there were not much choice, so again...I didn't get anything.

Lunch! Some of us had a gathering for Ellis in Bintang Plaza for the last time before he flies back to UK. We watched a movie called Rogue.

Seriously, I didn't like it. Just wasted RM5 on a boring movie. Luckily it's movie day today, or else it would cost me RM9! I DON'T recommend any of you to watch! Stay away from this movie.

After movie, We went to Boulevard since Siew Hui wanted to go. Not to forget there is LEA Sports Centre too and I finally got the pair of shoes I liked - ASICS GEL-Rocket® III. I paid RM149.40 after a discount from RM249. LOL...I'm so happy now! Finally I got it after a few months, the first ASICS shoes I had in my life.

Beauty!

I went back around 5.30pm but it's still not the end of my journey yet. At night, around 7.30pm, Chung Zeng picked me up and we went to watch the badminton competition between the Methodist churches in Miri. LOL...it's just like watching Thomas Cup, the spectators were crazier than the players. Hahaha!

Around 10.30pm, we left...and went for lim teh and Chung Zeng met some of his friends there so we joined them. LOL...they were nice people and funny. After all of that, it's finally time to go home and let's call it a day for me. Tired and sleepy~~ Still sempat to blog...zZz

Good Night!

Race

Trailer :

Thoughts...

Wow! This is like one of the best movies I've watched so far. Ahaha...have not been watching Hindi movies for about 2 months. Finally I managed to sort out some time to watch. This movie has lots of twists and turns, it's full of surprise. Brilliant storyline! Awesome actors and actresses. Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif are so gorgeous, sexy, beautiful...hot! Lots of actions and you really need to think when you watch this.

My favourite actress - Bipasha Basu

Iron Man

(Warning! May contain spoilers)

Trailer...

Thoughts...

A must watch movie!
For those who like Transformers, you definitely got to watch this. Iron Man is an ultimate Marvel action hero. On the day it was released(30 April), I went with a few friends to watch it in the cinema. Hehe...at least I did not regret paying RM10 for it. It was an awesome and great movie! I liked to way he build his Iron Man armor. It started off with some iron junk then with technology, he include all his mechanics and engineering in it. LOL...so futuristic. I wish I could have that suit for real...ahaha!

Evolution. From a junk to a...deadly suit.

Emandy's Farewell

"Treat your friends as you do your pictures, and place them in their best light." - Jennie Jerome Churchill

What's Up?

Woohoo...another party!

This time was farewell party. LOL...been eating a lot these few months but who cares right? Since I'm not doing anything else, so yeah...just EAT only! Best thing in my life...

Emandy will be going to Australia this coming Sunday for her further studies. Sad...more people are going to leave. So we decided to have a farewell party for her. 7 of us were there, which were of course Emandy, Lynthia, Sylvia, Arvincanz, Greg, Marvin and me. We expected more to come but unfortunately they didn't turn up. But anyways...it was still fun!

We celebrated at KFC in Bintang Plaza. Hehe...guess we really had a great time!

Happy Birthday? I think the person heard wrongly when we booked the place...LOL!

Yummy...

Eat Eat Eat...

Smile! :-)

Ka Chow!

With the guys...

Hmm...? Overall...

and we watched...

AH LONG ah! This is seriously a blast man! This Ah Long is a bit different from the Ah Longs you all know. It's a Singaporean/Malaysian film and it's so damn funny although it was stupid! It's a comedy, gangsterism, romance and stupidity film. All of us were laughing our ass off, you will laugh every minute when you're watching it. I would say it's worth the money paid for...RM7. Haha...never get an Ah Long wife. LOL...

Good Night!

Getting Closer...

"Suspect each moment, for it is a thief, tip-toeing away with more than it brings." - John Updike

What's Up?

On the 8th of April...

I did my registration with Jeremy for Cambridge GCE A-Level (Science) Course at Riam Institute of Technology today. We registered under Kim Teck so he can get commission; so as both of us...ahaha! I think I'm getting excited to study now; since studying in college is different from studying in school. LOL! Guess I'll experience more challenges now...

So yeah...Keane just arrived in Miri late evening just now. He's gonna be here until Friday. We better make full use of the limited time we have. Haha! We visited Sanjeet and her mom, chit-chat a little, have some wine, checking out Keane's new camera...etc. LOL...it was a great time for us. Until 11.30pm, Keane and I decided to have supper somewhere; so we went to Boulevard area. And then...Home Sweet Home!

Movies...

Wah! This movie good lah! It's a thriller I would say, first Hindi I watched that something to do with ghost and exorcism. It's also very unpredictable. Dr. Aditya(Akshay Kumar) is a genius, I liked his way of thinking and how he solved the mystery. LOL...some scenes are kinda scary.

Not Much Time Left...

"Enjoy life. There's plenty of time to be dead." - Hans Christian Anderson

What's Up?

After months of thinking where I should study. I finally came to a conclusion...
I'm gonna study Cambridge A-Levels in Riam Institute of Technology, though I haven register yet; but might be doing it in these few days or next week. Jeremy is also going to join me; at least I'll have someone going in with me. The intake is starting on 5th May; I have about a month to enjoy myself before getting serious again. But actually there is not much time left for me to play around because I have to start recalling whatever I've studied before.

In these few months, I've been watching lots of Hindi movies. Let's see...I think about 30 of them. Some are just so awesome! Love watching them! Not only that, I'm even trying to learn to speak Hindi. While for English movies, I think not even 5...LOL! Not to forget I'm playing badminton everyday of my life now. Training everyday, improving I guess; hope I'll continue to work harder. So I think that's what I do daily...nothing else.

I want to wish my luck and all the best for those who are already studying or that just started, also for the ones that are having exams this year. For those who are still not studying, take care and don't get into trouble! Hahaha...stay alive!

And I watched...

Just watched this movie last night, I would say it's a pretty good movie. It's about some love life in high school and it's funny!

John Tucker Must Die! Haha...all about these 3 girls that is trying their best to destroy this particular guy who cheated on them. LOL...they really have brilliant ideas on that, trying all sorts of ways to destroy him. But still, the guy is smart; so it's still not easy to take him down...

So in the end, what happened? Ahh...just watch it yourself. Ahaha!

Good Friday

"There are some movies that I would like to forget, for the rest of my life. But even those movies teach me things." - Antonio Banderas

Good Friday
everyone!
It's a day to commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. I have no idea why there isn't a service in my church today while other churches had it. Kinda strange right?

So yeah, it's been quite a while since I blogged something about myself. So here it goes...

I went to Pizza Hut in Bintang Plaza for lunch with my family and just hung around for couple of hours. Well...at least I didn't went home empty-handed this time. Ahaha...I bought a bottle of NutraLife Muscle Builder powder (375g). RM66.80 after discount! Damn...all these stuff are so expensive. Well...just wanna tone my body up and look fit. Haha...was tired so I slept for hours after I got home.

Later at night, Chung Zeng asked whether I wanna watch a movie or not. So as you know, I rather go out than being bored at home. We watched Shutter!

Yeah...a thriller! But it wasn't that scary compared to some other movies I watched. It was something to do with cameras and a spirit seeking for vengeance. Watch it and you'll understand. LOL...but according to Chung Zeng, the Thailand version was better and scarier which was released few years ago. In my opinion, I think Asian countries are better in ghost stories while the western are better in thrillers. Maybe it's because we used to believe in legends and myths. So, RM8 gone for this! I'm waiting for better movies to come.

The Bourne Ultimatum

Summary :

After being recovered from the sea, and after losing the one he loves, Jason Bourne(Matt Damon) is one more step closer to finding out how David Webb became Jason Bourne. Whilst Pamela Landy(Joan Allen) has decided to leave Bourne alone, CIA Deputy Director Noah Vosen(David Strathairn) has other plans. He believes that Bourne is still dangerous and must be eliminated, before he finds out his true identity and takes the CIA down with him.

(Source : IMDb)

Thoughts......

Finally, it has came to an end. Bourne has been running for a long time and with that he finally found out his true identity. This is such an brilliant film I would say. It's so fantastic...LOL, I even get nervous for him.

Bourne is brave, smart, calm or whatever you can think about him, his movement are just so fast and unpredictable. He could also mess with the whole police department. At last he managed to find out everything about himself and it's a long story. He found out why are all these people after him.

Yeah! This is one of the best film I watched this year and I think it really hit the cinemas this year. Not to forget the first and second movie too. I just love the Bourne trilogy.

The Bourne Supremacy

Summary :

After escaping from the emotional and physical pain he previously encountered. Jason Bourne(Matt Damon) and his girlfriend Marie(Potente) begin a new life as far away as possible. But when an assassination attempt on Bourne goes horribly wrong, Bourne must re-enter the life he wanted to leave behind, in order to find out the truth why they are still after him.
(Source : IMDb)

Thoughts......

As the chase continues......
The story becomes more interesting, more action, more power, more killing, more death......LOL!

Ah well, actually have nothing much to say about this movie. Haha...just that Bourne found out more about himself. His wish to start a new life didn't turn out and he almost got killed too. This time he really escaped death! Imagine living a life like that and everyone is after you. If I were him, don't even think to have a time to eat peacefully...ahaha.

They really make these movie in several locations across Europe which are Germany, Russia, France and more. I just like the landscape of these countries which I can't find them over here. Just to say...it's more nicer than the first movie.

The Bourne Identity

Synopsis :

Based very loosely on Robert Ludlum's novel, the Bourne Identity is the story of a man whose wounded body is discovered by fisherman who nurse him back to health. He can remember nothing and begins to try to rebuild his memory based on clues such as the Swiss bank account, the number of which, is implanted in his hip. He soon realizes that he is being hunted and takes off with Marie on a search to find out who he is and why he is being hunted.
(Source : IMDb)

Thoughts......

First of all, I know this is an old movie which was released in 2002. But as you all know, the last series of this movie was just released few months back this year. Well, it's kinda late for me to do this review now. For those who haven watch it....MUST WATCH IT!!!

A non-stop action movie and also one of the best spy films around. The story doesn't have any twist and turn, it's just focused on one thing...as in no 'off-topic' stuff. It's more believable and realistic compared to some other movies. No extraordinary stuff will be seen, no super gadgets, no super hero, or whatever like you see in some other movies.

Jason Bourne
(Matt Damon) is just awesome! In the movie, he used to be a high-level trained assassin. Haha...that's an interesting job perhaps. He was strike by amnesia and he is trying his best to find his identity with all the obstacles coming. The fighting scenes are great, powerful, fast, unpredictable...He just surprise everyone in the things he does. He stays cool and calm even he is in danger, that's what so great about him.

And yeah...it can be confusing if you don't understand especially the first time watching it because whatever Bourne does also confuse the people in the movie...LOL! You have to really concentrate on the movie or else you won't be able to catch what it's all about.
