I'm Back!

Yeah, the title says it all...

Just got back to Miri. Haha...feels nice to be home but I still miss KL, lots of precious moments over there. My trip this time is just different from any other trips before. I really had an awesome and wonderful time. Instead of following my family for vacation, I decided to hang out with my friends this time. Not to forget the awesome youth camp too! I'm gonna miss the food there since there are no nice food in Miri :P

Anyways, college is gonna start in a week time and the awesome thing is I've not done my homework at all. Haha...hope I'll be able to rush through it within this week. Yeah, it's time for me to work harder since I'm gonna face my major exams.

Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to see my friends in Miri too. I better get it done before college starts again. Lalala~

Good Night!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!
Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and a happy new year.

Everyone is celebrating Christmas. But do we actually know the true meaning of it? What are we celebrating for? Is it just a day we have fun gathering around and exchanging present?

“I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”
(Luke 2:10)

Yes, Christmas is a celebration; a celebration for Jesus. It’s why we celebrate this day. Yet, we often leave the guest of honor out of our Christmas parties! Some people may feel that they have nothing to celebrate; they just want to get through it. But God, through his angel, tells us that embedded in Christmas is good news of such great joy that, if we believe it, we won’t be able to contain the celebration within us.

God’s good news is so much more than that!
The joy of Christmas is based on three things:
(1) God loves us
(2) God is with us
(3) God is for us

Through the birth of Jesus, God says, “I’m going to give you hope.” If you’re lonely this Christmas, let Jesus fill the void in your heart.

God Bless!

What's Up?

Yes, I'm aware that holidays is coming to an end and I'm flying back to Miri this Saturday. I seriously gonna miss all my new friends here but I'm looking forward to see my friends in Miri too.

Currently I'm back to my relative's house again. Keane dropped me off at Imperial Hotel in KL yesterday since my parents and my brother was there. But I only get to stay for a night because today they're checking out. This hotel is one of the best hotel I've stayed before. It's very grand, the room was big and came with a 32' LCD TV, DVD player; the bathroom was awesome too. LOL!

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do for these few days. I've done most of my shopping. Yeah, I had lots of fun for these few weeks, loved the youth camp, enjoy hanging around with my friends and thank you Keane for letting me to stay in your house and your Christmas present too.

School is starting soon and I've not done any of my homework. That gonna be so bad. Guess I should start trying to do some these few days. Bleh...

Good Night!

This is NOW

This is NOW...

for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
"Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you."
(Ephesians 5:14)

That's the theme of the youth camp I went. The camp was awesome! We stayed in Le Paris Hotel. The hotel is kinda terrible though. Haha! The speaker was Pastor Jeremy Steward from Singapore. It's been actually quite a long time since the last church camp I went. I would say this is the best youth camp I've ever been. Besides getting to know a lot of new friends, the most important thing is about God. We're all busy in our everyday activities and sometimes we just forget about God. This camp was an awakening for me which actually brought me closer to God. It's time for us to wake up and to stand for Christ.

So I'm flying back to Miri next Saturday. I'm gonna miss everything here, I'm gonna miss all my new friends. They're really a bunch of awesome people. We'll still keep in touch.

Moved Out

What's up?

Been busy for these few days, went out everyday. I actually had moved over to Keane's place since Thursday. He is been busy with his youth camp music practice these few days and I just follow him wherever he goes. Haha! Got to know some new friends too... Besides that, I've done some of my shopping too. I managed to get most of my stuff in 1 Utama, mostly clothes... And yeah, I've been enjoying food a lot too! Over here, there are just too much food and some of them are really expensive. But I don't mind to try them if they're nice :-)

I'm going to Port Dickson for a church youth camp tomorrow. So excited! The camp will be 4 days, so I'll be back again on the 18th. I really pray that God will do something new in my life and I'll learn more about God in this camp.

I guess that's all for now, I'll keep it short and simple.

Good Night!

Hectic

...Hello...

Hectic... I think that's the world you can use to describe a city lifestyle. It is conjested, people are all around, heavy traffic...

Yesterday was really a hectic and exhausting day for me so I didn't bother to blog anything when I got home. I was out with Philip for about 10 hours. We really had a long journey, walked a lot.

We start off around 10am, using the Putra LRT to KL Sentral station and switched to Monorail and headed to the city. Our first destination was Low Yat Plaza. My main objective to go there is to shop for some PC games. LOL...pretty hard to find though, only found a small corner shop that sell games. I bought Call Of Duty 4 and Red Alert 3. Then, we went to hunt for some Digital SLR camera since Philip wants to buy one.

After we're done, we walked to the Hang Tuah monorail station and switch to STAR LRT. Our next destination was Petaling Street. We arrived at a station called Plaza Rakyat and from there we did some walking. Petaling Street is still the same as before and will always be the same. I bought some clothes from there and I also made some seller angry. Well, that's business...take it or you'll lose it.

Then we used KTM to our next destination, Mid Valley. Was trying to find some books in MPH but couldn't find the one I wanted. So we walked around to kill time. We also went to The Gardens, all the expensive stuff are there. And we had our dinner in one of the restaurants there. Italiannies. The food was ok la, not really impressive though and cost us almost RM90+.

After eating, we took a bus to the nearest LRT station and went home around 9pm.

Today

Again, Philip and I went to Low Yat Plaza but this time his dad was with us too.
I wanted to change my COD 4 game since there was an error during installation. I decided to change to a different game, Call Of Duty - World At War. Hoping it would be working well this time. And for Philip, he finally bought his camera, a
Canon EOS 40D. Yeah, today I was only out for a short while. Suppose to go to Keane's place tonight but end up there is a change of plan. So I think that's all for now!

Unlucky Day

Ahh...went to play futsal with Philip and his friend's friends. And for me, I'm a noob in futsal playing against the pros. I was the goalkeeper...

And yeah, during the 1 hr 30 mins game, my finger got hit by the ball so hard and it seriously hurts. Not just that, my knee was kicked by someone too and it hurts so badly.

What an unlucky day !

The Beatitudes

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

(Matthew 5:3-12)

What's Up?

Hahaha...been quite busy and tired these 2 days. Yesterday I went for badminton with Philip and his brother at the Taman Megah badminton court. LOL...we had a wonderful 3 hours game. Bleh...I was totally exhausted at the end. Played non-stop but yeah...it was fun!

And for today, I went out with Philip again. We went to Pertama Complex, quite empty though but I was actually just looking forward to one of the shops in it. The shop is called Racket World, is where you can get rackets for the cheapest price. But yeah, I wasn't interested to buy any at the moment. Basically I was just looking for some short pants and I got a pair from another shop(forgotten the name) for RM20.

Next, we headed to KLCC. Haha...we took a LRT and it was crowded. Imagine so many people in the train and the air-cond was not working well...ERK!!! I spent most of my time at Kinokuniya bookshop, was trying to look for some maths book but couldn't find the one I wanted. In the end, I just bought a story book called
The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien for Marcus. After that, we walked around KLCC to kill time and we took a LRT home after we're done.

Good Night!

Holidays - The Beginning

How's your holidays?
So here I am blogging in KL using my cousin's computer. I was staying in Westin Hotel which is located somewhere in the city of KL for the first 2 nights. And I moved down to my relative's house in PJ last night.

For the past few days, I walk a lot, eat a lot, sleep a lot and exercise too. Haha! So I won't be out of shape at the end of the day.

Above the clouds...

We arrived KLIA on Monday evening around 6.25pm. After getting our stuff, dad rented a car and after everything was settled, we left the airport at 7.30pm. Since we're not quite familiar with the roads there, it took us quite a long time to get to the city centre. It took us about 2 hours to get to our destination and 'thanks' to the traffic jam.

On Tuesday, I walked for about 6 hours around the city but bought nothing! I went to Sungei Wang, Lot 10 and Pavilion. Nothing caught my interest in Sungei Wang, a lot of clothes there are for ah bengs, ah lians and ucak. LOL! No wonder there are lots of weird people there. But yeah, there are many other cool people, especially the foreigners. They are all around the city! As for Lot 10 and Pavilion, it's a the branded stuff there. Only those rich dudes can afford to buy stuff from there. I just wish I could have the money....lalala~

And yesterday, I went to Sungei Wang again since my mom brought us there to eat. Since nothing better to do, so we just headed back to the hotel and watch TV.

Here are some random photos...

And yeah, I don't know what are the names of the food I ate. What I know is they're just awesome! So I just eat only :-P
