What's Up?

"On the morning of June 28, China's National Stadium resonated with cheers. After years of hard work, the "Bird's Nest" is now completed."

This is the "Bird's Nest" I'm talking about...

Venue: National Stadium
Location: Olympic Green
Total land surface (10,000 sq. m.): 25.8
Seats: 91,000
Functions during the Games: Athletics, Football
Groundbreaking date: December 2003
Designer: Herzog & DeMeuron (Swiss) and China Architecture Design Institute

Seriously, I never knew a shopping center would exist in a stadium. Something I will never expect of.
