Oh man! I can't take it anymore, our women's singles and men's doubles lost again today! Altogether we've lost 4 in these 2 days! What's going on with them? Our only LAST hope left is Lee Chong Wei, just hope that they will be able to bring the glory back. Tomorrow will be a tough match between him and Indonesia's Sony Dwi Kuncoro.
Earlier today, our women's singles player, Wong Mew Choo lost to China's Lu Lan in a straight set 7-21, 27-29. Lu Lan's standard is much higher than her, so indeed Wong Mew Choo had done her part. I'm so proud of her because she gave a 110% in the game. She had already tried her best and fought until the end especially in the second game. Haha...she is still a winner to me. A model professional!
Ahh...next is the men's doubles - Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong
The greatest disappointment! This is the first time the were beaten by Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan, 21-16, 21-18. What a game! They're giving us fake hopes. I'm so disappointed with them, everyone put high hopes on them and it turned out to be an upset to us. The Indonesians played superb, very aggressive, you'll see all the smashes throughout the game. The game speed was damn fast. Somehow our boys did quite a number of unforced errors. Nothing much I can say about them, just hope they will improve from their mistakes.
