1 Week Orientation

What's Up?

Yeah! 1 week of orientation in Riam Institute of Technology had ended, 4 days to be exact... The orientation was fine, there were fun and boring times. They were about 100+ students for this intake I think, from different courses such as Cambridge GCE A-Level, C&G Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, C&G Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, ACCA's Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and Diploma in Commerce (Business Management). As for the Automotive course, the 2nd intake will start in June.


So, let's check out...

Day 1
LOL...the worst day! It's like we have nothing else better to do. Basically just giving out the orientation kits and forming our group discussing about a task that is given to us. Then...go home!

Jeremy, Lynthia and I being to first to enter the lecture hall. LOL...nothing better to do.

Day 2
Okay...this is the day when we listen to talks and knowing more about the college. Although it wasn't that fun but it's beneficial. Talks were given by the principal(Mr John Wong), canteen boss(Louis) and the CEO(Dato' Fong). Then, we went for a tour around the college. Ahaha!


Day 3
Woohoo...! The best day! We had games, indoor and outdoor games. Indoor games were ok ok only but outdoor games were fun! Too bad it was only for a short while...I love to play wet games. Ahaha! But yeah, it was a exciting but tiring day for me.


Day 4
Finally...it's over! Before that... we have our sketch show. We are given a task to do a small skit. Ah well...it was funny though, looking at the other groups performing. Our story was what happens when Robin Hood meets Aladdin. LOL...I played the Aladdin role.


Few more days to enjoy myself before lessons start next Monday. I'm taking the Cambridge A-Level course and so far, there are only 12 people in my class. So small...ahaha! The good thing is the lecturer can pay more attention to us. Haha, I'm excited to study right now, can't wait to learn new stuff!
