Catching Up - With Azam

After weeks of planning, I finally get to meet up with my high school classmate, Azam. Haha! Actually we're supposed to go out weeks ago but due to certain circumstances, it was postponed. So I guess the last time I saw him was way back in Nov 2007 (during SPM), it's been 2 years plus already. Well, he's back for a few months till June; having a long break.

I picked him up and we went to Ipoh Town for dinner. So after dinner, we went to Bintang Megamall jalan-jalan and chit-chat. Basically just sharing about our own life and stuff. different place and environment, everything just changes. Yeah, had a really good time:)

He finally gained some weight. Haha! Got fatter in other words.
And seems that he is losing lots of hair. Stressful life over there.

I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken Chop which was OK.
So far, most of the chicken chop (or I should say all) I ate doesn't taste that good.
Little meat but so much thick skin =.="
I want the meat, not skin! I hope one day I'll find the ideal one.

Water Spout

On 26/4/2010, something unique and rare was seen on the sea.

I believe it happened for the first time.
Most likely a water spout rather than a tornado.

Whatever it is,
it's scary but looks cool at the same time :p

Rejected

So I was checking my email as usual at night,
noticed a mail from Shell;
regarding about the scholarship.


And the message was about...
'Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that your application has not been successful on this occasion.'


So yeah, guess I'm just not good enough even for a face-to-face interview:'(

Chicken Pita Bread

The night before Sam went back,
I had a chance to go for a meal with him
at Piasau Boat Club.

Wah... This is like one of the best food I could ever have.
First, it's full with chicken. (Thumbs up)
Second, it's not oily. (No oil perhaps)
Third, it's just meat and vegetables. (It's all lean meat)
Fourth, the price is reasonable.

Been eating a lot for the last few days,
which means I'll have to work harder
and eat less!

Shell Scholarship Phone Interview

I just had my Shell Scholarship phone interview done. My interview was schedule at 10am; I expected the call 10-15 minutes earlier but end up I only got the call at 10.30am. Thought they forget me already:p

Heh... it's my first time having an interview through the phone and it roughly took me about 50+ minutes. Haha! Hold the phone until sweating and my ear also wanna burn already. If talk to gf for 4 hours still can la, but this one talk until head wanna explode. This one mana tahan? The interviewer sound so serious also, laugh a bit also cannot meh? LOL!

Overall it wasn't that bad, nor I would say it's good. Though the questions were quite hard at times but hey, it's my first time. They really drill into your head, stress you up until your thinking capability. So, pass or not? Doesn't matter, let God decide. If don't pass, means I'm not good enough lo; simple as that. What matters is the good experience I had. But I really hope I can get to the face-to-face interview, it would be another memorable experience I will get.

Yay... Eat!

Samreet is back for 2 weeks.
So we went out for a meal at Ming's Cafe on Wednesday night.
Besides eating, we chit-chated about what we're doing recently and stuff.

These fishes were not too bad.
Just that it's kinda little for me:p

Then we headed to Dave's Deli and I had a steak pie.

Went to Progress for a DotA match before going home.

Amazing eh?

Went for dinner with John and the 2 coaches last night.
